HATTER HAT

What you will need

1 x   Hatter hat chipboard

Strips of 1” cardstock to assemble the hat (I used scraps for this)

2 x   Black cardstock

3” Piece of PATT# F77 01 Fabric

15” Piece of PATT# F77 05 Fabric

2 x C88 007

The Extra’s

Butterfly, fairy, swirl, mask and leaf chipboard

Rose quarts pebbles, gems, Swarovski stones loose and in rings

Berries, small paper flowers, plastic flower and gems

1 x ticket

Fairy nest

Wedding lace

Grey bead swirl

1 x cotton thread

PATT #F77 01 butterflies, mirror butterfly,

Cotton gauze

Assemble as follows

Use the pieces of the hat chipboard to cut out the side panel and top of the hat with C88 007.

Cover the inside of the box holder and top and bottom of the rim with black cardstock.

Assemble the hat.

Wrap and glue gun the PATT # F77 05 Fabric around the middle of the hat folding pieces as you work.

Use the photos to guide you in your decorations.

The Booklet

2 of 5 ¾”   X   4 ¼” chipboard.

1 of 1 ¾”   X   4 ¼” chipboard.

1 x C88 008.

2” Black material tape.

Black cardstock for the “Kathy Hinge system”.

Assemble the cover using the above products.

Inside front cover

Pink cardstock 3 ½” x3 ½”

C88 001 5 ½” x 4 1/8”

Cut out of bird in clock and butterflies on C88 002.

Page one

With the black cardstock cut,

1 of 3 ½” x 4”

1 of 3 ½” x 5” score ½ “top and bottom. Tape together and add to hinge. 

Decorate front and back with C88 002 adding chipboard of your choice, Cotton thread and charm.

Pull out for page one 

Cut Black card stock 6 ¼” x 12”  Score at 3 1/8” on the 6 ¼” side.  Then score at 4” and 8” on the 12” side.  On the 3 1/8” line, cut to the first score line on each end. The booklet can now be folded and decorated with C88 001 and C88 002. Paper size will be 3 3/8” and 2 ¾”. I added a believe sticker, fussy cut butterfly and three small tags.

Page Two and three

Four x  Black Cardstock.

Cut the following sizes.

One 5 1/2” x 4”

Two 5” x 4 ½” score 1/2” on the 4 ½” side, tape only on the ½” pieces, add these 1/2” hinges to each side of the 5 ¼” x 4” then breath.

Cut another 5 ½” x 4” then,

One 5” x 4” score ½” on the 5” side add tape to the ½” and tape to back of 5 ½” x 4” on the right side.

Join the two pieces together only on the top and the bottom remember that a tag is going to slide into this on the right opening. The left opening is going to be added the hinge of the booklet.

To decorate

Use C88 005, C88 006, green cardstock, small charms, punched small flowers, thread, feather, 3 x eetsy tags, 2 x tags 3 ½ ” x 3 ½” , small bling and a pull out tag 3 ¾” x  4 ½’.

You need to measure each section to determine the size to cut the paper. Let your imagination soar.

Page three

Use C88 003, C88 004, again determine the size of the area before you cut your beautiful paper.

I used small pink flowers, piece of bling swirl, 3 black tags, eetsy tags, cotton thread, silver Swarovski bling, four brads, bling and more bling,  gem clip holding three tags 3” x  3 ½”.  There are also small vellum envelopes. Don’t forget the pull out tag.

So there you go Ladies, this should take you a morning or so.
