C85 Shabby Rose Collection | Best Wishes Card

Materials:

Fabscraps C85 004 Romantic Door

Fabscraps C85 003 Romantic Panels

White cardstock

Title Chippie – Best Wishes

Gauze

Brown chalk

Green embroidery silk

Tombow glue

Glossy Accents

Directions:

·                Cut your white cardstock down to measure 12 x 6 inches. Score down the centre – this will be your base card

·                Cut C85 004 (stripes) to measure 5.5 x 5.5 inches; distress the edges.  Stitch a border all around, using your green embroidery silk.  Centre and adhere this to the front of your card

·                Cut a ¾ x 12 inch strip from C85 003 (roses side) and create a paper rosette.  Use a ¾ inch cut circle from the same paper to close off the front. Chalk your rosette with brown

·                Cut a 1 ¼ x 12 inch strip from C85 003 (filigree side) and create another paper rosette.  Again, use a circle cut from the same paper (1 inch) to close off the front.  Chalk your rosette with brown

·                Cut two strips from C85 004 – use the striped side and select your favourite design; each will be almost 1 inch in width.  One should measure 3 inches in length and the other 2.5 inches.  Chalk with brown

·                Adhere your larger rosette to a piece of gauze and then adhere the two strips you’ve cut from C85 004

·                Position in the top left corner and adhere your larger rosette to the front of your card using tombow

·                Position and adhere your smaller rosette just diagonally below your larger rosette, using tombow

·                Colour your title chippie with brown ink and position and adhere across your two rosettes – finish off with a coat of glossy accents
