Page
·
Coat your ‘Big 5’ Chippie liberally with
chocolate brown ink. Swipe with
embossing dabber, sprinkle with a little brown embossing powder and heat
emboss. Cut from frame and set aside
·
Adhere the cover Africa continent to the upper
left hand corner of C91 005 Protected, with the images facing front. Carefully cut around all the edges with your
craft knife and then sand the edges
·
Adhere two of your photographs to the reverse of
each circle, so that they create a frame for you photograph
·
Ink all the open edges of your cover with olive
green. Use your pencil or distress
crayon to colour around the circles framing your photograph
·
Take one of your solid chippie pages and cover
it with C91 007 Endangered – hessian print side showing. Sand off the overlapping edges and ink all
around with olive green
·
Grab your Africa continent cover and adhere it
to the base page above. Use your pencil
or distress crayon to create a dark, shaded border all around your Africa
continent; this will allow it to really pop from your page
·
Adhere your ‘Big 5’ chippie slightly off centre
(as shown), using foam dots
·
Finish off by applying a layer of Glossy Accents
to the two circles framing your photographs
Pages 2 and 3
·
Coat your ‘Leopard’ chippie with brown chalk /
ink, coat with glossy accents. Once dry,
cut from frame and set aside
·
Coat your ‘Lion’ chippie with olive green chalk
/ ink, coat with glossy accents. Once
dry, cut from frame and set aside
·
Cut two pieces from C91 002 Conservation
(cracks side up) measuring 8.5 x 8.5 inches; adhere one to the reverse of your
cover page and the other to a fresh chippie album page. Sand off the overlapping edges and then chalk
with brown
·
Use the lion print paws from your DS061 stencil
to create paw prints down the right hand side of page two and the left hand
side of page 3; I used brown chalk for these
·
Cut a strip from C91 005 Protected to measure
10.5 x 4 inches, round the corners and chalk with olive green. Score and fold at 3.5 inches from the right
and then adhere to the upper half of page two; this flaps allows for more
photographs on display
·
Mat your photographs to some olive green cardstock;
and also to some paper from the Fabscraps Carders Pack – MC91 001A
·
Once you’ve adhered your photographs, finish off
page two by adhering your title chippie ‘Leopard’
·
Cut a narrow strip from C91 005 Protected
(‘stone’ side up) to measure 2 x 7 ¾ inches; round off two of the corners,
chalk with olive green and adhere it to the outer right hand section of your
base chippie page
·
Mat your photographs to olive green cardstock
and once all your photographs are stuck down, adhere your title ‘Lion’ chippie
Pages 4 and 5
·
Cover both your ‘Rhinoceros’ and your ‘Elephant’
chippies with palest beige chalk / ink and then swipe just the upper portion of
each one with a little dark brown chalk / ink.
Coat with glossy accents and once dry, cut from frame and set aside
·
Cut two pieces from C91 005 Protected to
measure 8.5 x 4.5 inches. Adhere these
to the upper portion of both your chippie album pages
·
Cut two pieces from C91 007 to measure 8.5
x 3.5 inches. Adhere these to the lower
portion of both yoru chippie album pieces
·
Sand off all the overlapping edges
·
Use a strip of your washi tape to cover the
‘join’ of the two sections per above
·
Use some beige cardstock to mat your photographs
before arranging them and adhering them to your chippie pages
·
Fussy cut a tree from one of the pages of your
Fabscraps Carders Pack; chalk the edges with green and adhere it to the upper
left of page 4; allow it to overlap a photograph
·
Adhere your ‘Rhinoceros’ chippie vertically to
the left hand side of page 4
·
Fussy cut an elephant from C91 001
Threatened and adhere it to the upper left section of page 5; allow it to
overlap a photograph
·
Adhere your ‘Elephant’ chippie to the lower
portion of your page
Pages 6 and 7
·
Coat your ‘Buffalo’ chippie with chocolate brown
chalk / ink, coat with glossy accents and once dry, cut from frame and set
aside
·
Cover your binoculars chippie with palest beige
and use some brown around the outer edges to give the appearance of shading;
coat the darker sections with glossy accents and set aside to dry
·
Coat the circular rhino silhouette chippie that
was in the smaller circle of your Africa continent chippie album cover, with
dark brown. Coat with glossy accents and
set aside to dry
·
Select your favourite Africa continent die cut
from your Carders Pack and then adhere it to one of the corresponding chippies.
Cut from the frame, chalk with brown and set aside
·
Cut two pieces from C91 003 Vanishing to
measure 8.5 x 8.5 inches and adhere them to either page; make sure that you cut
them so that you make the best of the beautiful imagery on each side! Sand off the overlapping edges and chalk /
ink with olive green
·
Mat your photograph to some beige cardstock and
adhere it to the upper right hand side of page 6
·
Fussy cut an aloe plant from one of the pages of
your Carders Pack, chalk the edges and adhere it with foam dots beside the
background aloe images of your base page
·
Adhere your binoculars chippie to this foam dot
aloe, using both Tombow and foam dots and finally, adhere your ‘Buffalo’
chippie
·
Grab three of your favourite die cut tags from
your Carders Pack, chalk / ink all edges with brown and then arrange and adhere
them to the lower left corner of page 7
·
Arrange your Africa continent chippie over this
and adhere with Tombow
·
Adhere your rhino silhouette chippie to slightly
overlap the Africa continent chippie – use both Tombow and foam dots for this
To Finish
·
Cover the back of your album page with
C91 004 Survival – cracked side showing.
Cut it down to measure 8.5 x 8.5 inches, sand the edges once you’ve
adhered it and then chalk / ink with olive green
·
