Card – Make a Wish

Materials:

Fabscraps C88 005 Merry Weather

Fabscraps DC88 012 Chippie Tag

Fabscraps DC88 006 Chippie Make A Wish

Fabscraps MC88 001A Carders Pack

Light teal cardstock

Inks – black, teal and brown

Glitter glue – teal and brown

Liquid pearls – beige

Alphabet stickers (tiny)

Foam tape

Tombow

Method

·                Cut your cardstock down to measure 12 x 6 inches, score down the middle (at 6 inches).  This will form your base card

·                Take a page from your carders pack (greenish hue) and cut it down to measure 5 ¾ x 5 ¾ inches. Chalk with teal, distress the edges and adhere it to your base card

·                Take another page (script) from your carders pack and cut it down to measure 5 x 5 inches.  Cut a 3.5 inch oval from the bottom left hand side corner (roughly a quarter inch from the left and from the bottom).  Chalk all exposed edges very lightly with black and distress only the outer edges

·                Fussy cut a fairy and two teal flowers from C85 005

·                Find your placement for the fairy (overlapping the cut oval in the 5x5 inch script page) and the flowers – which will be tucked underneath.  Adhere your flowers with Tombow and then adhere your script page over that, using foam tape.  Adhere your fairy using both Tombow and foam tape

·                Adhere a corresponding die cut to your Tag chippie and distress the edges with brown

·                Coat your title chippie with brown and adhere it towards the tag chippie – vertically.  Adhere “it’s your birthday” alphabet stickers above your title chippie

·                Adhere this entire chippie piece to the right of the fussy cut fairy on your card, using tombow

·                Finish your card off by adding swipes of teal glitter glue to the fairy and flowers and coating your title with brown glitter glue.  Finally, add dots of liquid pearls to the scroll work on your tag chippie
