C90 Christmas Snow Collection
Santa Chipboard Mini Album
by Bev Code

I love making mini albums for gifts filled with photos and memories. I used C90 Christmas Collection from Fab Scraps to create this super cute chipboard mini album. It was part of the collection. My mini album celebrates a family xmas.  Be sure to visit the Blog where you can view lots of amazing projects using Fab Scraps Collections.

FOR THIS MINI ALBUM YOU WILL NEED:
Supply List:
Collection: C90 Christmas Collection chipboards, papers, accents
Other: copic markers, stickles, modeling paste, stickers, ribbons, signo white gel pen

INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP #1: Decorate the chipboards to your liking. I love using copics on chipboard along with gesso or modeling paste to whiten them. After the chipboard is dry add background papers to them.

STEP #2: Now that the bases are done decorate them any way you like.
Santa has glitter, textured beard and hair with some cute poinsettia accents.

All the outer edges has glitter. Some have snowflakes and a cute twine tied tag.

There are  cute snowman accent and poinsettia.

More poinsettia and a great chalkboard like tag.

STEP #3: Now tie them all together with ribbons.....  what a fun gift full of xmas memories for someone.

What a fun festive Christmas memories album. Thanks for joining me today.

Tiny Miracle – by Jeanine de Bruyn
       C89 Sweet Baby Collection

Requirements: 1 Sheet of ABC Blocks C89 002
                            2 sheets of Playtime C89 003
                            1 sheet of Vintage Prams C89 004
                            1 sheet of Pretty Girl C89 001
Die cuts from the Carders Pack MC 89 001A
And corresponding chipboard piece DC 89 009
                            Chipboard Title DC89 004
                            Pink cardstock
                            Lace/ Trim
                            Flowers and buttons

Directions:
Cut 1cm off of the top and 1cm off of the left side of your Pretty Girl paper then chalk the edges and glue it onto the back of the Playtime paper. From the Vintage Prams Paper cut a strip measuring 3.5 x 29cm, another strip 2.5 x 14cm and then (using the dot side) another piece 21 x 11cm.

From your ABC Blocks paper (using the chevrons at the back) cut a heart shape mine measures 15cm across and 19cm down.
From your second Playtime paper cut a small strip 2cm x 29 and scallop one of the edges using scallop scissors or a punch. From the same paper cut  pieces measuring  5 x 12.5cm , 3 x 11cm and lastly a piece 2 x 13cm. Scallop one of the edges of the 2 x 13cm piece.

Chalk all of the above pieces.

Begin by adhering the Vintage Pram strip (3.5 x 29cm) across the layout approx. 7 cm from the top of the page, slip the small scalloped strip (2x29cm) from the Playtime paper above and behind it.

Next glue down the Vintage Pram piece (21 x 11cm) I used the dots on the back of the paper about 3cm from the left of the page and overlapping slightly the Vintage pram strip. Tuck the 5 x 12.5cm piece from the Playtime paper and the 2.5 x 14cm piece from the Vintage Prams paper beneath the 21 x 11cm Vintage Pram piece before you glue it down.

Glue down your lace/trim running across the middle of the layout.
Using a little foam tape glue down the heart and then mat your photo and glue it down on top of and slightly to the right of the heart.

Chalk and emboss your title piece, I chalked mine in brown and then added a little pink embossing powder over it. Glue your title to the right of your photo.

Add your flower or other embellishments of your choice to the left of the heart/photo.
To the bottom right of the layout glue down the remaining Playtime strips (3x11cm) and then over that glue down the 2 x 13cm scalloped piece. Add one of the die cuts from the Carders pack (I used the elephant and glued it to the corresponding chipboard piece) to the middle of these strips, tie a bow at the top of the die cut then add your flower and buttons to complete the layout.

Happy Crafting everyone!

‘Born To Sparkle’
by Ewelina Gryglak

For this layout you will need:

Vintage Prams paper C89 004
Playtime paper C89 003
Chipboard die-cut BORN TO SPARKLE DC89 006
Stencil DS 058 C89 range
Cardstock: Blush Rough CC 022 and Denim Weave CC 020
Other requirements:  clear matte gesso, texture paste, lace ribbon, colour co-ordinating gouache paint (pink and teal), white acrylic ink, pink mica flakes, golden glitter, paper straws, double-sided tape, glue

Instructions:

PREPARATION:
From Playtime paper C89 003 cut out individual baby girl characters to use as embellishments later on.

STEP 1:
Your base page is Vintage Prams paper C89 004, the spotty side up. To make sure the wet mediums don’t soak through the page, prime it with a layer of clear matte gesso (that will make it waterproof but will not fade out the original paper design).

STEP 2:
Mix texture paste with pink mica flakes and a small amount of pink gouache paint. Run the mix through the Stencil DS 058 C89 range – the dog with a bow design only – in two opposite corners of the page.

STEP 3:
While the ‘stamp’ is drying, sprinkle the pink and teal gouache paints to add colour and texture around the stencilled design and where your photo will be attached.

STEP 4:
From the Blush Rough CC 022 and Denim Weave CC 020 cardstock, cut out a layered frame for the photo (pink one slightly bigger than the photo; blue slightly bigger than the pink one) and attach them together using double-sided tape.

STEP 5:
Paint the Chipboard die-cut BORN TO SPARKLE DC89 006 using white acrylic ink. Once dry, cut it out of the frame. To create the dipped effect, paint the lower half again and while still wet, sprinkle with golden glitter. Put aside to dry.

STEP 6:
Staple a strip of lace to the bottom of the page.

STEP 7:
Using double-sided tape attach the photo, the earlier prepared cut out embellishments and the chipboard to the page.

STEP8:
Randomly dab some glue around the page and sprinkle with golden glitter.

STEP9:
To finish, attach two paper straws to the side of the paper cluster/photo frame.

Good job!

Hi... OMG isn't this new line for babies amazing.... blue and pinks for all those boys and girls…son's and daughters and grandkids too. This is my eldest son when he was little… and now he is 45 years old.... what great memories these pages will hold.

FOR THIS LAYOUT YOU WILL NEED:
Supply List:
Paper Chipboards, Stencil: C89 Sweet Baby Collection
Ink: Tim Holtz mini pads, ranger
Markers: copics
Punch: Martha Stewart heart
Other: buttons, metal accent, twine, cork, paint

INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP #1: I pulled the collection out and decided for this one that I would use a cardstock base to start and use pieces of 3 papers to create the background. It allowed me to mix prints, blocks and images all together.

STEP #2: Pulling the photos I wanted to use, some chipboards, ink and copics I coloured the frame, teddy, title and matted the one photo.

STEP #3: I splattered some blue paint on the page, stenciled in the letters BABY and added the hearts.

STEP #4: Next I positioned the matted photo.

STEP #5: Next I added the rest of the accent chipboards that I prepared earlier. I then added some button accents.

STEP #6: Next you can accent the page any way you like … add a little or a lot... but have fun.

Thanks for joining me today.

C89 Sweet Baby Collection
Layout by Bev Code

I used C89 Sweet Baby Collection from Fab Scraps to create this super cute but easy card. The collection has a great mix of blues or pinks for both boy and girl projects. Be sure to visit the Blog where you can view lots of amazing projects using Fab Scraps Collections.

FOR THIS CARD YOU WILL NEED:
Supply List:
Collection: C89 Sweet Baby paper, chipboard and accents
Other: copic markers, lace, beads, buttons, punchinella, Tim Holtz ink

INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP #1:  For my background I used 2 part pieces of a full page and put them together on a 12x12 white cardstock.. I love the upper girlie print with the chevron bottom. I also added the strip borders of hearts too on top and bottom.

STEP #2: The upper edge got beads and the lower edge got lace... both suited to little girls.

STEP #3: Through the centre (or on either side of middle) I added pink punchinella accent.

STEP #4: In the close ups you can see the details of the other accents and placement. This section has a fun cluster of pieces. The cute sweet baby girl with a matted fussy cut background mat and inked for depth. The chipboard is copic coloured and I added the small heart button.

STEP #5: In this section you can see the other chipboard accent which also is copic coloured. Above shows the super fun sticker which was put on white cardstock to make it pop and hand cut. See the fun punchinella out to left side of photo.. and the cute heart button accent.

This photo is through the main central section showing all the accent pieces and placement. Remember when crafting... following or scraplifting is fine and fun… but don't forget ... make it your own and have fun.
